Xnet Waste Manager is made by Xnet Technology Ltd, a UK software company run by Mat Linaker. When you ring, you talk to the person who built it.
Why it exists
When Defra announced that paper would no longer be enough, and that every load received would need to reach a central database within two working days, it left the screens to the software market. Most operators we spoke to hadn't been told any of it.
We built the waste tracking first, alongside a working skip hire firm, and it has been filing real loads with Defra since September 2026. Then the same firms asked the obvious question: if it already knows every customer, carrier and load, why is the booking diary somewhere else? So the yard went in too: the job grid, skips out, dockets, invoices, payments, online requests and vehicle checks.
How we work
- One price, said plainly. No tiers, no add-ons, no per-seat fees.
- Set up for you. Every account is set up by hand, with your sites, sizes and prices in, and you're shown round it.
- Plain English. Defra's error messages are written for developers. Ours aren't.
- Your data stays yours. We keep the master record; export it any time.
- Straight talk about compliance. We're listed on GOV.UK's list of software providers for reporting receipt of waste. That's a listing, not an endorsement, and we'll never pretend otherwise.
